New Design Canada
New Design Canada is an initiative that supports the export capabilities of innovative design firms. The goal is to raise the awareness, sales and brand recognition of Canadian design. New Design Canada is a Design Exchange (DX) undertaking in partnership with the Province of Ontario and the Government of Canada.

New Design Canada
Previous activities have included presentations and exhibitions in Australia, Singapore, Japan, United States, England and Italy. In 2005, DX conducted a trade mission to Japan during Expo 2005 and organized the first major Canadian presence at ICFF in New York and 100% Design in London.
In 2006, we returned to ICFF and participated in a curated exhibition produced by Wallpaper* Magazine during the Salone del Mobile in Milan. We were pleased to launch Prospect, a new initiative in partnership with the consulting firm Klinik. In 2007, DX participated in Canada Week in Mexico and returned to ICFF.
New Design Canada has received support through the International Trade Canada's Program for Export Market Development, the Canadian Heritage Trade Routes Program, provincial governments and Canadian consulates around the world.
